Job Purpose

Turn data into clear, actionable insights that support business decision-making and improve business performance. The Senior BI Analyst develops and maintains dashboards, reports, and performance metrics, improves reporting processes through automation, and ensures the accuracy and quality of information to support the needs of different business functions and contribute to achieving company objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1. Dashboard & Report Development: Design, develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards, performance reports, and KPI scorecards that meet business requirements and support decision-making.

2. KPI & Business Reporting: Prepare recurring KPI reports, performance dashboards, and management reports on schedule to support performance monitoring and executive reporting.

3. Data Visualization & User Experience: Present data through clear and effective visualizations that simplify the understanding of business trends and results for users across different functions.

4. Report Automation: Develop automated solutions for recurring reports and workflows to reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and ensure timely delivery.

5. Self-Service BI & User Enablement: Develop reusable datasets and standardized reports, and support business users in accessing and using approved information independently.

6. Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Validate data, calculations, and KPI results before publishing reports; ensure accuracy and consistency; and investigate, resolve, or escalate data quality issues when necessary.

7. BI Solutions Performance Support: Monitor dashboard performance, data refreshes, and report availability to help ensure the reliability and continuity of BI solutions.

8. Business User Support: Respond to reporting requests, troubleshoot dashboard issues, and help users across business functions understand and interpret BI outputs.

9. Standards & Documentation: Maintain documentation of reports, KPI definitions, and calculation rules, ensuring compliance with approved reporting and data governance standards.

10. Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve reporting quality, data visualization, and automation processes while keeping up to date with developments in business intelligence tools and practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, dashboard development, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards, and data visualizations using business intelligence platforms.

• Experience in retail, e-commerce, consumer goods, or similarly data-driven industries is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Strong analytical skills and experience in reporting and KPI development.

• Ability to design clear, intuitive, and user-friendly dashboards.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.

• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain findings to non-technical audiences.
