Area Sales Supervisor
Job Purpose
Lead and coordinate sales activities across an assigned area by supervising store teams, driving territory revenue, developing customer relationships, and ensuring consistent execution of company standards. This role is responsible for coaching store supervisors, monitoring performance, implementing sales and merchandising initiatives, and supporting operational excellence to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support store managers and supervisors in the area; provide coaching, feedback, and development to improve team capability and achieve sales objectives.

Develop and implement area sales plans, promotions, and local merchandising strategies to drive traffic, conversion, and average transaction value.

Monitor store and area KPIs (sales, conversion, average basket, shrinkage) regularly; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions to meet targets.

Conduct regular store visits to evaluate customer experience, visual merchandising, stock availability, and compliance with company standards; provide actionable feedback to store teams.

Support inventory management and replenishment processes across the area by coordinating with supply chain and store teams to ensure product availability and minimize stock discrepancies.

Drive recruitment, onboarding, and training activities for store leadership roles in the area; assist with scheduling and workforce planning to ensure adequate coverage.

Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service; support resolution of escalated customer issues to protect satisfaction and brand reputation.

Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, cash control procedures, and loss prevention practices across all stores in the area.

Collaborate with regional management, marketing, and operational teams to roll out campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and peak trading plans effectively.

Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost efficiencies, and commercial growth; lead local initiatives to improve store performance and customer experience.
Qualifications & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of retail experience with at least 2 years in a multi-store supervisory, area, or field sales role preferred.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving store performance across multiple locations.

Experience with inventory control, merchandising, and basic financial controls at store or area level.

Legal authorization to work in the designated country and willingness to travel within the assigned area as required.
