Key Responsibilities – Category Marketing Strategy, Digital Merchandising, and Performance Optimization
Market and Category Analysis:
- Study the performance of the category and competing products in the market.
- Analyze consumer behavior and purchasing trends.
- Identify growth and expansion opportunities within the targeted category.
Marketing Planning and Execution:
- Develop annual and monthly marketing plans specific to the category.
- Propose marketing campaigns and promotional offers in coordination with the other departments.
- Monitor campaign implementation and ensure alignment with brand objectives.
Product and Offer Management:
- Contribute to defining suitable products and offers for the targeted category.
- Monitor sales performance and recommend necessary adjustments to pricing or the marketing mix.
- Coordinate with the Product Management team to ensure readiness of new products.
Internal Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Brand, Channels, Growth, and CRM departments to ensure effective campaign execution.
- Prepare monthly performance reports and analyze marketing campaign results.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Propose new marketing ideas to strengthen the category’s market position.
- Stay updated on the latest local and global market trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications – Marketing Category, Commercial Strategy, and Analytics Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field; advanced degree or category management certification is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in category marketing, digital merchandising, or commercial roles, preferably within the retail or e-commerce industry.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing, SEO, category management, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Power BI, or similar).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills; capable of multi-tasking across projects and priorities.
- Analytical thinker with a high attention to detail and a passion for using data to solve problems and inform decisions.
- Experience working cross-functionally in diverse, fast-paced teams; ability to thrive in an inclusive, gender-neutral work environment.
