Assistant Project Manager - Tamheer

Primary Responsibilities – Support planning, coordination, and delivery
Assist Project Managers in day-to-day project activities, including scheduling, task tracking, and status reporting to ensure projects stay on scope, on time, and on budget.
Coordinate with internal teams (design, development, product, marketing, operations) and external vendors to collect updates, resolve dependencies, and escalate risks or issues as needed.
Maintain and update project documentation such as project plans, timelines, meeting minutes, action logs, risk registers, and change requests to ensure accurate records and transparency.
Prepare clear, concise status reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing progress, milestones, and next steps; support PMs in stakeholder communications.
Support resource coordination and capacity planning by tracking assignments, availability, and dependencies across teams to help optimize delivery.
Assist with project financial tracking, including budget monitoring, invoice coordination, and basic expense reconciliation in line with company processes.
Contribute to project governance by helping schedule and prepare for key meetings (kick-offs, steering committees, retrospectives) and ensuring follow-up on action items.
Support continuous improvement by collecting process feedback, documenting lessons learned, and helping implement standard operating procedures and best practices.
Perform ad hoc project tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a solutions-oriented approach to support timely delivery.
Qualifications and Skills – Organized communicator with a learning mindset
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; Tamheer participants are encouraged to apply.
0–2 years of experience in project coordination, project support, or a related role; internships or academic project experience are valued.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.
Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable preparing status updates, meeting notes, and stakeholder-facing materials.
Proficiency with common collaboration and productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello).
Basic understanding of project management principles, timelines, and deliverables; familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies is a plus.
Problem-solving attitude with the ability to identify issues, propose practical solutions, and follow through to resolution.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
