Inventory Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Analyst to join our team for a full-time position. This role will manage inventory accuracy, support replenishment and forecasting processes, and collaborate with operations, procurement, and sales teams to ensure optimal stock levels and product availability. Core Accountabilities:

Inventory Accuracy & Control:

Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and investigating root causes of variances.

Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage, obsolescence, and stockouts.

Coordinate with warehouse and store teams to ensure proper receiving, put-away, and stock rotation practices.

Forecasting & Replenishment:

Analyze historical sales, seasonality, and promotional plans to support accurate demand forecasting and inventory planning.

Generate replenishment recommendations and purchase suggestions to maintain appropriate safety stock and service levels.

Work with procurement and suppliers to expedite critical orders and manage lead-time variability.

Reporting & Performance Metrics:

Prepare regular inventory reports and dashboards (e.g., inventory accuracy, days of supply, stockouts, turnover) to inform stakeholders and support decision-making.

Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and recommend corrective actions to improve metrics.

Document processes, findings, and action plans; communicate updates to cross-functional teams and management.

Systems & Process Improvement:

Maintain and optimize inventory records in the company’s inventory management and ERP systems; ensure data integrity and proper item master maintenance.

Identify process inefficiencies and lead or support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline receiving, storage, and distribution workflows.

Support implementation and testing of system enhancements, integrations, and inventory-related projects.

Collaboration & Compliance:

Partner with operations, sales, merchandising, and finance to align inventory plans with business objectives and promotional activities.

Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards related to inventory handling and reporting.

Provide training and support to warehouse and store staff on inventory procedures and best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience:

2+ years of experience in inventory analysis, supply chain, operations, or related roles; retail, wholesale, or distribution experience is a plus.

Hands-on experience with inventory management systems, ERP platforms, and Excel-based analysis.

Proven ability to analyze data, produce actionable insights, and support inventory planning decisions.
