We are seeking a responsible and hands-on Workers’ Housing Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations of on-site worker accommodations, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and deliver a respectful, well-maintained living environment for personnel. This role requires strong operational oversight, people management, and the ability to coordinate maintenance, catering, and logistics to meet company standards and local regulations.
Core Accountabilities:

Accommodation Operations & Facility Management:
Oversee daily operations of worker housing facilities including rooms, common areas, kitchens, and sanitation facilities to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and comfort.
Schedule, coordinate, and supervise maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment activities with internal teams and external contractors to maintain facilities in safe working order.
Manage inventory of housing-related supplies, equipment, and spare parts; initiate procurement requests and track usage to control costs.

Health, Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all housing operations comply with local laws, company policies, and industry best practices related to health, fire safety, sanitation, and worker welfare.
Develop, implement, and monitor emergency response plans, fire drills, and evacuation procedures; ensure first-aid and safety equipment are available and maintained.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of housing facilities and promptly address non-conformances; maintain accurate records and incident logs.

Resident Services & Welfare:
Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing housing requests, grievances, and welfare concerns professionally and promptly.
Coordinate catering, laundry, transport, and recreational services to support resident well-being and morale.
Promote a respectful, inclusive living environment and manage room allocations, move-ins, and move-outs with fairness and transparency.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management:
Supervise and mentor housekeeping, maintenance, and support staff; set performance expectations, conduct regular coaching, and participate in hiring and scheduling.
Manage relationships and service-level agreements with third-party vendors (catering, cleaning, maintenance); monitor performance and ensure contract compliance.
Build a collaborative culture focused on service quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Reporting, Budgeting & Continuous Improvement:
Prepare regular operational reports, occupancy records, incident reports, and maintenance logs for site leadership and corporate compliance.
Manage housing budgets and expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure efficient use of resources.
Implement process improvements to enhance service delivery, safety, and resident satisfaction; drive initiatives to standardize housing operations across sites where applicable.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience:
3+ years of supervisory experience in facilities management, worker housing, camp management, or a related operational role, preferably in construction, oil & gas, mining, or large-scale industrial projects.
Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with service providers and contractors.
Familiarity with occupational health & safety regulations, emergency response protocols, and sanitation standards relevant to worker accommodations.
Experience with basic budgeting, inventory control, and generating operational reports.
