Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Demand & Supply Planner to join our supply chain team. This role is responsible for end-to-end demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and cross-functional coordination to ensure product availability, minimize stockouts and excess inventory, and support commercial objectives. The ideal candidate is data-driven, collaborative, and able to operate in a fast-paced retail environment with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, promotions, seasonality, and market insights; generate weekly and monthly forecast updates to support business planning.

• Collaborate with commercial, merchandising, store, and operations teams to incorporate promotional plans, new product introductions, and local market trends into demand plans.

• Create and execute supply plans to meet forecasted demand while optimizing inventory levels across distribution centers and stores; plan replenishment and allocation based on priorities and service targets.

• Monitor inventory health and key supply chain metrics (days of cover, service level, fill rate, forecast accuracy); identify root causes of issues and recommend corrective actions to improve performance.

• Manage purchase order generation, supplier lead times, and reorder point settings in the planning system; coordinate with procurement and suppliers to expedite or defer shipments as required.

• Conduct regular cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations; work with operations to resolve variances and improve inventory accuracy.

• Prepare and present regular reports and analysis on demand, supply, and inventory trends; provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders to support commercial and operational decisions.

• Support system and process improvements, including forecast model enhancements, planning tool configuration, and automation opportunities to increase efficiency and accuracy.

• Actively participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) cycles and cross-functional planning meetings to align demand, supply, and financial targets.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, supplier agreements, and local regulations while maintaining high standards of data integrity and professional communication.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, engineering, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, or related roles within retail, consumer goods, or distribution environments.

• Proven experience working with planning tools or ERP systems (e.g., SAP APO/IBP, Oracle, JDA, Kinaxis) and advanced Excel skills; experience with statistical forecasting tools is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into practical actions.

• Legal authorization to work in Saudi Arabia and ability to be based in the designated office location as required.
