Key Responsibilities – Category Management, Merchandising, and Product Optimization
- Category Strategy Development: Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to develop effective category plans that align with Nice one’s business objectives and growth targets.
- Assortment Planning: Curate, evaluate, and optimize the product range within assigned categories to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the procurement and inventory teams to monitor stock levels, minimize out-of-stock and excess inventory, and ensure availability aligns with demand forecasts.
- Promotions and Pricing: Support the creation of category-specific promotional strategies, pricing recommendations, and seasonal campaigns to drive sales and meet key performance indicators.
- Supplier and Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and vendors to maintain strong relationships, monitor product performance, and ensure ongoing category competitiveness.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Track category performance through regular reporting, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, e-commerce, content, and operations teams to align category initiatives and support successful product launches.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about emerging consumer trends, new product introductions, and industry developments to ensure Nice one’s categories remain competitive and relevant.
Required Skills and Qualifications – Retail Category Management, Data Analysis, and Product Assortment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in category management, merchandising, or product management within an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis using spreadsheets, business intelligence tools, or relevant analytics platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
