Document Controller and Archivist

Primary Responsibilities in Document Control and Archiving
- Document Management: Oversee the receipt, classification, and storage of company documents to ensure seamless retrieval and compliance with policies.
- Archiving and Storage: Organize and maintain archives in compliance with regulatory requirements, safeguarding sensitive and confidential information.
- Document Retrieval: Facilitate prompt and secure retrieval of documents for internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Records Retention: Develop and implement records retention schedules and guidelines to ensure proper lifecycle management of documents.
- System Maintenance: Maintain electronic document management systems, ensuring accurate data entry and system integrity.
Key Skills and Competencies for Document Controllers and Archivists
- Organizational Skills: High level of organization and detail-oriented approach to manage document storage and retrieval systems effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with document management software and basic computer systems to maintain and update archives efficiently.
